Angus 27A started as a quiet experiment in 2014: could we host the way we wished we had been hosted? A few suites later, the answer is yes — every day, a little better.
We're on Angus Road, behind a gated verge in Bedfordview. A 1970's yellow brick-and-garden build with a Hollywood pool set into the lawn, it was always meant for guests. When we took it on, we kept the bones - the patterned tiles, the old trees, the proportions and let the rest soften
Today it's a boutique getaway with a small in-house team. No reception desk. No hurry. A private garden filled with intoxicating aromas and exquisite colours
